well turns out the skeptic in me wins. i had contractions for about 5 hours last night, nothing regular but it was something. they seemed to be around every 8-10 minutes. my doula said to try and get some sleep. i managed to around 12:30 and when i woke up this morning around 8:30 they were all gone, everything back to business as usual.
hard to not feel defeated but i am trying. and so the day goes on.

this used to be one thing, but now it is something else. i have no idea what it will be tomorrow. i am hopefully pessimistic and live on the westcoast of bc with two little humans and one larger one. with a little luck that doesn't sum up who i am.

It's not unusual at this point to have several hours of patterned contrax; esp at night bc the body processes oxytocin better at night. Doing more acupuncture might help (piggybacking appts 2x in a day often does it). I have had 2 'overdue' babies and I know it's so hard to wait; esp after a loss when you're constantly wondering if everything is okay (been there too) but hang in there! Very soon you'll finally get to meet the little man you've been waiting your life for and a difference of a couple of days won't seem so bad then. :)

Still praying and thinking about you guys a lot! Hopefully last night was a good sign of things to come, soon...
